FIRST TEAM
Jasmin Edwards, G, Sr., Lynnwood (Player of the Year)
One of three seniors on the Lynnwood roster, Edwards was the Royals’ undisputed leader. She averaged 10 points, four assists and three steals per game as she helped Lynnwood to a third-place finish at the Class 4A state tournament.
Sidney Rielly, G, Sr., Everett
Rielly led the Wesco 3A in scoring at 21.5 points per game. The University Santa Clara recruit was the Wesco 3A co-Player of the Year. She helped lead Everett to the District 1 championship as the Seagulls advanced to the opening round of the state tournament for the first time since 1996.
Samantha Romanowski, W, Jr., Mountlake Terrace
Romanowski led the Wesco 3A South in scoring at 17.7 points per game. She was the focal point of a Hawks team that finished 18-6 and reached the regional round of the state tournament. Romanowski shared Wesco 3A co-Player of the Year honors with Sidney Rielly of Everett.
Lyndsay Leatherman, P, Sr., Arlington
The lone senior on Arlington’s roster, Leatherman averaged a double-double — 14 points and 10 rebounds per game. She was a strong post presence for the Eagles, who posted a 20-6 record and returned to the Tacoma Dome for the second straight season.
Mikayla Pivec, P, Soph., Lynnwood
The 5-foot-10 Pivec averaged a team-high 15 points and 15 rebounds per game, helping the Royals to a 25-2 record. She’s also a star on Lynnwood’s track and field team.
