The latest AP prep football poll was released Wednesday afternoon and it featured at least one local team in each classification.

Edmonds-Woodway finally – and rightfully – cracked the 4A top 10, with the Warriors taking over the 10th spot. Marysville Pilchuck remained No. 3 in 3A, with Glacier Peak dropping one spot into a tie for seventh. Meadowdale (11 points) was No. 11, just outside the top 10.

Lakewood stayed at No. 5 in the 2A poll, King’s moved up to No. 9 in the 1A poll and Darrington held steady at No. 10 in the 2B poll. In order to claim one team in each classification we’re going to call Lummi – which occasionally reports results – a local team as well. The Blackhawks remain the No. 5 team in 1B.
