VANCOUVER, B.C. — The Everett AquaSox rallied for two runs in the ninth inning and had the potential tying run on second base, but couldn’t complete the comeback as the Vancouver Canadians emerged with a 4-3 win on Sunday.
Sox center fielder Patrick Brady batted 3-for-4 with two doubles, two runs scored and a solo home run in the fourth inning to account for Everett’s first run.
Vancouver starting pitcher Starlyn Surriel gave up just one run in six innings and struck out six to earn the win.
