Max Gray

Arlington | Football

Arlington’s receiver-turned-quarterback/running back ran 10 times for 99 yards and two touchdowns, completed 2-of-2 pass attempts for 27 yards and a touchdown and had a key 33-yard reception on third-and-10 late in the game to help preserve a 34-21 win over Stanwood in the annual Stilly Cup.

Kaleb Seymer

M. Getchell | Football

The Chargers running back had 251 all-purpose yards and had a 90-yard interception return for a touchdown and a 52-yard fumble return for a touchdown in the Chargers’ 36-14 victory over Shorewood.

M. Terrace | Girls Soccer

The Hawks forward scored the game-winning goal in overtime in a 2-1 win over Meadowdale and also had a goal in Terrace’s 2-0 win over Glacier Peak as the Hawks took over first place in the 3A South.

Monroe | Volleyball

The Bearcats outside hitter had 11 kills in a five-set win over Bothell and had 18 kills in a four-set victory over Inglemoor as Monroe picked up its first two wins of the season.

Shorecrest | Boys Tennis

The Scots No. 1 singles player beat Cameron McDowell to lead Shorecrest to a win over cross-town rival Shorewood and then topped defending district champ Nick Ekern in a victory over the Mavericks.

Brad Hodkinson

Snohomish | Boys Cross Country

The Panthers harrier finished sixth at the Fort Steilacoom Invitational to lead the Panthers to a 10th-place finish and also was second in a meet hosted by Edmonds-Woodway that Snohomish won earlier in the week.

Emma Janousek

Arlington | Girls Cross Country

The Eagles runner took sixth at the South Whidbey Invitational to lead Arlington to a first-place finish in Division 1 and also won the Marysville Getchell meet earlier in the week to lead Arlington to win at that meet.

Britt Blomso

Shorewood | Girls Swim

The Thunderbirds swimmer recorded state-qualifying times in the 100 butterfly (1 minute, 0.49 seconds) and 100 backstroke (1:01.23) to help Shorewood sweep Snohomish and Glacier Peak on Tuesday and also had wins in both events in Shorewood’s win over Meadowdale on Thursday.
