Heavily planted Blackman’s Lake in Snohomish has frustrated a lot of trout fishermen lately, but experienced angler Sam Ingram of Arlington recommended patience.
“There are a lot of fish in the lake, and when it warms up a little, they should start cooperating,” he said. “I’ve done fairly well there at times, but it’s been cold and wet, and we’re not seeing any surface activity to speak of. Toss a chunk of Power Bait out there and let it soak.”
