Everett Silvertips goalie Carter Hart was named the Western Hockey League Goaltender of the Week for the 10th time in his career, the league announced Monday.

Hart tied Leland Irving for the franchise record with his 21st career shutout in a 2-0 over Prince Albert on Wednesday. He beat Seattle 3-2 on Friday, and recorded a career-high 48 saves in a 2-1 loss to Regina Sunday. His save percentage for the week was a sterling .963. For the week Hart was 2-1 with a 1.34 goals-against average.
Everett’s star netminder leads the WHL in save percentage at .944 and GAA at 1.84.
The Tips return to action Wednesday when they take on the Tri-City Americans at the Toyota Center.
