Darrington players make all-league football team

Darrington’s Trent Green and Mason McKenzie were both named to the Northwest 1A/2B All-League offensive and defensive first teams.

Green was named to the first team as a quarterback and defensive back and McKenzie made both teams as an offensive lineman and linebacker. Loggers running back Garrett Green, who rushed for more than 1,000 yards, was also named to all-league first team offense.

On the second team, Darrington was represented by running back Bruce Massingale, offensive lineman Colin Davis and linebacker Lane Monteith. Parker Angeles (OL), Andrew Young (DB) and Austin Edwards (LB) were named honorable mention.
