EVERETT — The Everett Merchants beat En Fuego 14-3 at Everett Memorial Stadium on Wednesday night in a nonleague game.
Zach Garrett got the win, striking out four over four innings. Max Whitt led on offense, hitting 3-for-5 with six RBI. Ty Holm went 4-for-6 with three RBI and Sam Parris was 2-for-3 with 2 RBI. Holm attended Marysville Pilchuck H.S., while Parris and Whitt both went to Lake Stevens.
The Merchants (16-6) play next at 7 p.m. Friday at Everett Memorial against the Seattle Studs.
