First-round playoff dates set

The Seattle Storm will face the Minnesota Lynx in the best-of-three Western Conference semifinals after they wrap up the regular season Saturday night hosting the Tulsa Shock.

The Storm announced the dates of the games on Thursday.

As the No. 1 seed in the West, Minnesota will host the No. 4 seed Storm at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20 on NBA TV. Seattle will host game 2, but not its normal home floor. The second game of the series will be played at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22 at the Tacoma Dome due to a scheduling conflict at KeyArena.

If necessary, Game 3 of the series will be back in Minneapolis on Tuesday, Sept. 24 with a time to be determined.

Tickets to the 2013 WNBA playoffs will go on sale to the general public at 9 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 16.
