Ice fishing

The cold snap a while back provided some good ice fishing opps on the Lind Coulee arm of Potholes Reservoir for large perch and a lot of walleye, on parts of Moses Lake for perch and walleye, and on Fish Lake (near Lake Wenatchee) for trout and perch.

But with warmer temperatures since then, the ice may no longer be safe. Check first with MarDon Resort on Potholes (1-800-416-2736) or The Cove Resort on Fish Lake (509-763-3130) for current conditions.

Everyone must judge for himself or herself whether the ice is thick and solid enough to support winter activities.
