Hmmm, this is interesting:

Jujhar Khaira is a power forward who was selected in the third round of last year’s NHL draft by the Edmonton Oilers. He was born in 1994, meaning this is his 19-year-old season. By signing with the Oilers, he’s giving up his NCAA eligibility. His rights also happen to be held by Everett.
Now, this doesn’t mean he’s coming to Everett. Since he was drafted out of college, he isn’t subject to the agreement between the NHL and the CHL, and therefore he can play professionally in the minors as an underager. But if the Oilers determine he’s not yet ready for pro hockey, the Silvertips are the only other option. What a boon it would be to the Tips if Khaira landed in their lap.
