Lakewood softball wins finale to punch ticket to districts

LAKEWOOD — Alexis Lampinen batted 1-for-3 with a three-run home run in the bottom of the fifth inning that paced Lakewood to a victory over Cedarcrest in a Cascade Conference game. The win, coupled with Sultan’s sweep of Archbishop Murphy in a doubleheader, helps the Cougars earn the third, and final, district berth from the Cascade Conference.

Hailey Lacher finished 3-for-4 with a double for the Red Wolves in the loss.
