Lynnwood girls hoops team still hot this summer

The Lynnwood girls varsity basketball team continued its dominance this summer with a third consecutive tournament victory at the King’s Summer Shootout.

The Royals defeated host King’s 42-28 in the championship game.

In the two weekends prior to its victory in the King’s tournament, the Royals won the Snohomish and Edmonds School Distirct summer tournaments.

Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace, Kamiak, King’s and Lake Stevens were the local competitors at the 16-team King’s tournament.
