Meadowdale volleyball beats Oak Harbor for fifth at state

LACEY — Meadowdale defeated Oak Harbor in four sets to earn fifth-place honors at the 3A State Volleyball Tournament on Saturday.

Earlier in the day the Wildcats, paced by Kayleigh Harper’s 15 kills, four blocks and 10 digs, swept Shadle Park. The Mavs defeated Seattle Prep behind Tara Fishback’s 38 assists and four wins in Meadowdale’s loser-out matchup.
