Monday Seahawks links

Lots out there for your reading pleasure following Seattle’s 20-13 win over Tennessee.

Here’s Rich Myhre’s game story on a sloppy Seahawks victory.

I have a column on the defense getting its swagger back.

Also in today’s Herald, Todd Fredrickson looks at the special teams mess that turned out to be a laughable matter because the Seahawks won. We also have a look at the decision to temporarily bench Brandon Browner, a story on Marshawn Lynch’s big day, and a notebook leading with players’ thoughts on a quick turnaround with a Thursday night game coming up. Also, Chiefs fans broke Seahawks fans’ record for crowd noise.

And be sure to check out Jenny Buchanan’s excellent photo gallery.

You can find plenty more coverage from the game courtesy of the folks at the Tacoma News Tribune here, and the Seattle Times here.

Danny O’Neil of 710 ESPN Seattle writes about a messy win for the Seahawks, whose most difficult foe right now might be themselves.

Terry Blount of also focuses in on Seattle’s ability to overcome a sloppy, sometimes laughable day.

Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean hands out grades, and he isn’t impressed with the Titans performance.

In other NFC West news, 49ers fans are being taken to task for doing the wave while a Cardinals player was down with a potentially serious injury.

Mike Silver of offers his weekly 32 questions column, leading with a look at Aaron Rodgers and the Packers, who could still be a threat in the NFC despite a sluggish start to the season. Silver has the Seahawks still at No. 2 in his rankings, noting how scary it is that the Seahawks can make so many mistakes and still win.

Peter King’s Monday Morning Quarterback column does not rank the Seahawks as highly, putting them sixth.

And finally, for no good reason other than it’s funny, here’s a bear playing tetherball:
