Here are the Seattle Seahawks’ offensive and defensive snap counts from their 36-20 divisional playoff loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Saturday at the Georgia Dome (plays, percentage):
OFFENSE (55)
G Glowinski (55, 100)
T Gilliam (55, 100)
C Britt (55, 100)
T Fant (55, 100)
QB Wilson (55, 100)
WR Baldwin (50, 91)
WR Kearse (47, 85)
G Odhiambo (43, 78)
TE Graham (41, 75)
WR Richardson (38, 69)
RB Rawls (31, 56)
TE Willson (27, 49)
RB Collins (17, 31)
G Ifedi (12, 22)
WR McEvoy (10, 18)
FB Reece (9, 16)
RB McKissic (4, 7)
TE Williams (1, 2)
Notes: The sprained ankle suffered by right guard Germain Ifedi in the first quarter meant the first extended playing time for rookie guard Rees Odhiambo. Fullback Marcel Reece, one week after seeing an increased amount of playing time in Seattle’s 26-6 victory over the Detroit Lions, was back to getting his standard sparse number of snaps.
DEFENSE (72)
SS Chancellor (72, 100)
LB Wright (72, 100)
LB Wagner (72, 100)
CB Sherman (71, 99)
FS Terrell (71, 99)
DE Bennett (64, 89)
DE Avril (54, 75)
CB Lane (53, 74)
DT Rubin (53, 74)
DT Reed (46, 64)
LB Morgan (34, 47)
CB Shead (32, 44)
DE Clark (32, 44)
DT McDaniel (17, 24)
CB Elliott (17, 24)
CB Thorpe (7, 10)
SS McCray (1, 1)
LB Coyle (1, 1)
Notes: Fascinating to see strong-side linebacker Mike Morgan get as much playing time as he did, considering how much time Seattle tends to spend in its base defense against teams that are proficient in the pass. Not sure how much of that was scheme dictated and how much was because of cornerback DeShawn Shead leaving the game with a knee injury. Defensive tackle Ahtyba Rubin put in a heavy work day compared to normal.
