UCLA 63, Arizona St. 59

LOS ANGELES — Jasmine Dixon had 14 points and seven rebounds to lead UCLA to a victory against Arizona State.

Darxia Morris scored 12 points and Doreena Campbell and Erica Tukiainen added 10 each for the Bruins (21-7, 14-3 Pac-10), who won for the 11th time in 12 games.

Danielle Orsillo had 14 points and Tenaya Watson added 13 for Arizona State (17-11, 9-8).

UCLA shot 59.3 percent (16 of 27) from the floor in the second half, which helped the Bruins build a cushion in a game that was tied 23-23 at halftime.

USC 55, Arizona 53

LOS ANGELES — Kari LaPlante scored 13 points and Briana Gilbreath had 10 to lift Southern California to a victory over Arizona.

Gilbreaths basket with 1:48 remaining gave USC (17-11, 11-6 Pac-10) a 52-46 lead. Gilbreath made two free throws and Ashley Corral one in the final two minutes as USC held on after leading 32-20 at halftime.

Arizona (13-15, 6-11) had a chance to win it, but Brooke Jackson missed a 3-pointer in the final seconds.

Ify Ibekwe led all scorers with 18 points for Arizona. Davellyn White scored 12. Both teams have one conference game remaining, with USC hosting Arizona State and Arizona playing at UCLA.

USC hosts the Pac-10 womens tournament next week.
