Ponteur won the 200-yard freestyle and 100 breaststroke events and was part of the Bearcats’ winning 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays Tuesday in Monroe’s 114-72 win over Everett, then won the 100 freestyle and 100 breaststroke events and was part of the Bearcats’ winning 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams Thursday to help Monroe to a 112-57 win over Lynnwood.

Grace Stiger, Cedar Park Christian (Bothell)
Stiger, a junior, recorded 20 assists and eight digs Tuesday to help the Eagles to a 3-0 win over Cedarcrest, then recorded 29 assists Thursday in Cedar Park Christian’s 3-0 defeat of Sultan.
Cross country
Naomi Smith, King’s
Smith, a sophomore, won Thursday’s Cascade Conference meet in a time of 19 minutes, beating the second-place finisher by 16 seconds.

Camden Landrum, Granite Falls
Landrum, a senior, threw for 223 yards and two touchdowns, and ran for 117 yards and two touchdowns Friday in the Tigers’ 46-28 loss to Sehome.
