Prep baseball: Monroe 7, Mount Vernon 6

MONROE — A sacrifice fly by Noah Miller capped a two-run rally in the bottom of the seventh inning as Monroe came from behind to defeat Mount Vernon in a Wesco 4A North game. Wyatt Segle went 4-for-4 with three RBI to lead the Bearcats. Gaige Baisch and Alex Ibarra each hit home runs for Mount Vernon, which led by as many as four in the game.
