Prep baseball: Monroe 8, Arlington 4

MONROE — Dakota Ralph batted 3-for-4 with two doubles and Jacob Cogar struck out 10 to lead the Bearcats to their first win of the season. Joseph Goguen was 2-for-4 with two RBI for Monroe in the Wesco 4A North game. Arlington catcher Josh Schempp was 3-for-4 with a double and a home run for Arlington.
