Prep baseball: Stanwood 9, Mountlake Terrace 7

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Stanwood scored eight runs over the final three innings to rally from a 5-1 deficit and eliminate Mountlake Terrace from the 3A District 1 Tournament. Kurtis Hushagen tripled and had three RBI and Henry Hedern added two hits and two RBI for Stanwood. Wyatt Allemann went 2-for-3 with a triple and four RBI for the Hawks. The Spartans will take on Glacier Peak in a consolation semifinal on Wednesday.
