Prep basketball: Everett 45, Meadowdale 36

EVERETT — The Seagulls got 22 points from Bryan Lucas and held the Mavericks to 11 first-half points in a 3A District 1 tournament victory on Thursday night.

Lucas made a pair of threes on his way to his game-high total, and Charlie White led Meadowdale with 12 points.

Everett advances to play Stanwood on Saturday.
