Prep boys basketball: Grace Academy 51, Mount Vernon Christian 50

MOUNT VERNON — Isaiah Van Dam had 13 points and 17 rebounds as Grace Academy won its Class 1B District 1 tournament opener. The Falcons had three other players who scored in double figures: James Eneix (13), Josh Lee (12) and Jeremiah Lee (11). Grace Academy plays Tulalip Heritage in a second-round game at Mount Vernon Christian School on Tuesday. Tim VanderKooy led Mount Vernon Christian with 16.
