Prep boys basketball: Meadowdale 55, Everett 29

LYNNWOOD — A dominant third quarter helped Meadowdale defeat Everett for its first Wesco 3A victory. Matt Hirsch paced the Mavericks offense with 15 points and seven rebounds and Torin Dooley added 10 points, eight rebounds and five steals for Meadowdale. The Seagulls were led by junior guard Steven Tran who finished with 11 points.
