Prep boys basketball: Mountlake Terrace 67, Everett 38

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Mountlake Terrace held Everett to just 13 points in the second half as the Hawks advanced to the consolation final of the 3A District 1 Tournament after a win over the Seagulls. Loren Lacasse had 24 points and eight rebounds for Mountlake Terrace, while David Popach led Everett with 12 points. The Hawks play Marysville Pilchuck on Friday for the third and final 3A berth to regionals.
