LAKE STEVENS — Lake Stevens opened up its season with a Wesco 4A North win. The Vikings took a 1-0 lead halfway through the first half on a Marcus Edwards goal and Ahin Ali added a second goal early in the second half. Mount Vernon’s Alex Bell scored a minute after Ali’s goal, but the Bulldogs didn’t manage an equalizer.
