Prep boys soccer: Lake Stevens 5, Arlington 4 (OT)

ARLINGTON — Marcus Edwards beat the keeper to tap in the game-winning goal for Lake Stevens with an assist by James Tanner four minutes into overtime in a Wesco 4A North game. Alex Cortez scored for the Vikings in the 65th minute to tie what had been a back-and-forth game to that point.

Arlington struck first, but trailed 3-1 at halftime. The Eagles then scored three straight to open the second half and take the lead. Marcus Edwards and Max Sands of Lake Stevens and Alex Olin of Arlington all had two-goal nights.
