Prep boys soccer: Monroe 4, Edmonds-Woodway 3 (OT)

EDMONDS — Monroe’s Christian Avelos scored two goals, including the game-winner in overtime, to help the Bearcats beat Edmonds-Woodway in a Wesco 4A crossover match. Cameron Laird recorded the other two Monroe goals, while Ethan Hopkins and Edwing Martinez each had a goal for the Warriors.
