Prep boys soccer: Shorecrest 1, Kennedy Catholic 0

SHORELINE — Ben Schoedel scored near the end of regulation to give Shorecrest a 1-0 lead and the nonleague win. The winning goal came on a free kick that was served near midfield. Schoedel jumped up and got his head on the ball and it went into the upper-right corner of the goal. Alex Ramsey had the assist and David Miller got the shutout in goal.
