LANGLEY — Lakewood got on the board quickly, but then couldn’t stop a flood of South Whidbey goals, including a hat trick by Noah Moeller, and the Falcons took the Cascade Conference win. Sam Turpin and Stephen Lyons both scored two for South Whidbey and Connor McCauley and Guy Sparkman both had three assists for the Falcons. Antino Bellizzi scored for Lakewood in the 8th minute, but 10 minutes later Moeller had his first, followed by Turpin, then Moeller’s second. It was 5-1 by the end of the first half. Caleb Grave’s goal for Lakewood is significant as it represents the only time South Whidbey has given up two goals in a game this year.
