SNOHOMISH — Cascade running back KeJuan Coleman scored three touchdowns — two rushing, one receiving — to lead the Bruins to a 39-20 victory over Snohomish in a Wesco 4A crossover game on Thursday night.
The Panthers held a 13-7 lead at halftime, but one play according to Snohomish head coach Mark Perry seemed to change the momentum of the game.
“We had our QB (Kyle Gionet) break loose on an option where we would’ve scored on a 60-yard play,” said Perry. “But the ref blew an inadvertent whistle that stopped the play and turn what would’ve been a 60-yard score into a nine-yard gain. It took the wind out of our sails and we never recovered.”
