Prep football: Lynden 14, King’s 6

SEATTLE — Lynden’s Jalani Phelps and Trent Potsma each scored first-half touchdowns and the Lions held off King’s to earn the victory on Saturday. Cory Kispert connected with Jordan Turner on a 10-yard touchdown pass for the Knights’ lone score. The game took place at Husky Stadium at the University of Washington as part of the Emerald City Kickoff Classic.
