Prep girls basketball: Cedarcrest 56, Bellingham 27

DUVALL — Susan Kenney paced Cedarcrest to a first-round win in the 2A District 1/2 Tournament. Kenny scored 15 and had the game’s only 3-pointer. Kalee Fowler and Lacey Deming contributed 12 points apiece for the Red Wolves and Fowler had five assists. Cedarcrest hosts Sehome in the second round at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
