MILL CREEK — Jadynn Alexander scored 20 points and Deidra Miller added 14 to help Monroe hold off Jackson in a 4A District 1 elimination game. Kelli Kingma had a game-high 24 points for the Timberwolves. The Bearcats face Edmonds-Woodway in the consolation final on Thursday at Mountlake Terrace H.S., with the winner advancing to play the third-place team from the Kingco district tournament for the last regionals berth.
