EDMONDS — Maddox Stojkovic struck out eight and allowed just three hits in five innings as Edmonds-Woodway opened its new turf baseball complex with a win over Mountlake Terrace.

Jacob Gabler and Gibby Marhsall-Inman each went 1-for-3 with a run scored and two stolen bases to lead the Edmonds-Woodway (2-0) offense.

Dominic Kim went 2-for-3 with a double for Mountlake Terrace (0-2).

Monroe 13, Lake Stevens 3, 5 innings

LAKE STEVENS — Todd Chatterton went 2-for-4 with two RBI and Nate Cain had a hit and three RBI as Monroe beat Lake Stevens in five innings due to the 10-run rule.

Connor Campbell earned the win for Monroe (2-0) with 1.1 innings of scoreless relief.

Colin Beazizo had a hit and all three runs batted in for Lake Stevens (1-2).

Glacier Peak 10, Shorewood 0, 6 innings

SNOHOMISH — Mason Devinney and Colby Holmdahl combined on the two-hit shutout to give Glacier Peak a win over Shorewood in six innings due to the 10-run rule.

Jaxon Henderson and Turner Domann each went 2-for-3 with a double to lead the Glacier Peak (1-1) offense.

Jed Keller went 1-for-2 with a double for Shorewood (0-2).

Stanwood 7, Lakewood 3

ARLINGTON — Mason Goodson drove in three runs and scored three more as Stanwood rallied from an early deficit to beat Lakewood.

Jordin Lee added a double and drove in two runs for Stanwood (2-0).

Colton Dunc went 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI for Lakewood (0-2).

Jackson 16, Everett 0

EVERETT — Ryan Contreras went 4-for-5 with five RBI and Dominic Hellman went 2-for-4 with three RBI as Jackson blanked Everett at Everett Memorial Stadium.

Brendan Sandico had a hit and also allowed only one hit and no runs in three innings pitched for Jackson (2-0).

Everett fell to 0-2 on the season.

Cascade 4, Kamiak 3

EVERETT — Kam Swartz scored two runs, went 2-for-2 at the plate and picked up the win on the mound as Cascade edged in Kamiak.

Tevin Hsu hit a double and Gabe Lopez picked up the save for the Bruins (1-1).

Will Kunz went 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI for the Knights (1-1).

Snohomish 4, Archbishop Murphy 1

SNOHOMISH — Andrew Winningham went 2-for-2 with two doubles and three RBI as Snohomish won its second straight game against Archbishop Murphy.

Hayden Holobaugh allowed one hit and struck out four batters over four innings to pick up the win for the Panthers (2-0).

The Wildcats dropped to 2-0 with the loss.

STANWOOD — Beckham Uderitz scored three goals and Husdon French added another as Snohomish topped Stanwood on Friday evening.

French and Ian McClure each had an assist for Snohomish (1-1-0).

Stanwood (0-2-0) scored in the 73rd minute to avoid the shutout.

Kamiak 4, Cascade, 2

EVERETT — Alex Hristov and Aidan Drought each scored two goals as Kamiak pulled away in the second half to beat Cascade.

Blake Stevens and Glenn Wabaluku each added an assist for Kamiak (1-1-0).

Caleb Bonilla Stevenson and Whosayn Al-Azadi scored in the first half for Cascade (0-2-0).

ARLINGTON — Jackson improved to 2-0 on the season with a win over Lakewood on Friday evening.

Gilberto Jesus Martinez scored on an assist from Tanner Rahberger for Lakewood (0-2-0).
