Prep softball: Archbishop Murphy 5, Cedarcrest 4

DUVALL — A two-out RBI single by sophomore Addi Schmidt gave Archbishop Murphy the lead in the top of the seventh inning and the Wildcats held on to defeat Cedarcrest in a Cascade Conference matchup. Maddie Nixon batted 2-for-3 with a double, a home run and two RBI for the Red Wolves in the loss.
