Prep softball: Meadowdale 5, Everett 3

EVERETT — Meadowdale’s Alyssa Reuble — who also got the win on the mound — helped herself on offense batting 3-for-4 with a double and a home run as the Mavericks won the Wesco 3A contest. Rebecca Wright also homered for Meadowdale, which scored two runs in the top of the seventh inning after the Seagulls tied the score at three in the bottom of the sixth.
