Prep tennis: 3A District 1 tournament

STANWOOD — Glacier Peak’s Patrick Luangrath and Meadowdale’s Adam Ekern set up a showdown today for the 3A District 1 singles title at Stanwood High School. Luangrath defeated Ulises Aceves (Everett) and Nishant Limaye (Shorecrest) while Ekern beat a pair of Stanwood Spartans in Michael Wolf and Jonathan Spores.

Andrew Copsey and Chris Sato of Shorecrest will play Stuart Schachle and Cameron McDowell (Shorewood) in the doubles championship game.
