Prep volleyball: Cascade 3, Mariner 2

EVERETT — After dropping the first two sets to Mariner, Cascade battled back to pull out a five-set comeback win over the Marauders 16-25, 20-25, 25-14, 25-15 and 15-12. Kiana Hood had 19 kills and Valyn Dobson added seven for the Bruins (3-5, 3-11) which also received a solid performance from Makinlee Sellevold who finished with 18 assists and seven aces. The Marauders, meanwhile, got nine kills each from Elijah Turner and Mo Aguilar who also had three blocks. Breanna LaBarge went 26-of-27 serving with three aces for Mariner.
