Prep volleyball: South Whidbey 3, Cedarcrest 1

LANGLEY — Kacie Hanson’s eight kills, three blocks, seven aces, and 18 digs headlined a Cascade Conference match win for South Whidbey over Cedarcrest on Thursday.

Megan Drake had 12 kills and seven blocks, Sara Bryant got 37 digs and three kills, Katherine Read recorded 39 assists and three aces, and Kolby Heggeness got eight kills for South Whidbey.

Standout players for Cedarcrest include McKenzie Craig (57 digs) and Makenna Wehmeyer (34 digs, nine kills).
