Meadowdale vs. Eastside Catholic

When: Saturday night, 7 p.m.

Where: Eastside Catholic H.S.

Records: Eastside Catholic (4-0 Metro, 9-0 overall, ranked No. 2 in AP poll). Meadowdale (3-1 Wesco 3A South, 7-2 overall)

Scouting report: Eastside Catholic is unbeaten but the Crusaders have only one win that impresses: An Oct. 12 win over No. 6 O’Dea. EC is led by quarterback Trey Reynolds on offense and linebacker Zane Allen on defense.

Mountlake Terrace vs. Kennedy

When: Saturday night, 7 p.m.

Where: Highline Memorial Stadium

Records: Kennedy (6-0 Seamount League, 7-1 overall, ranked No. 8 in AP poll). Mountlake Terrace (2-2 Wesco 3A South, 5-4 overall)

Scouting report: Kennedy dominated a weak Seamount League and really only had one legitimately good win, a 26-20 victory over Kingco 4A Roosevelt. In the season opener, Kennedy ws crushed by Mount Si, which is no shame since Mount Si is the No. 3 team in the state and has only lost to Bellevue. Kennedy is led by quarterback Conner Richardson and running back Colin Cossette.

Kentlake vs. Lake Stevens

When: Saturday night, 7 p.m.

Where: LSHS Football Field

Records: Kentlake (5-3 SPSL 4A North, 6-3 overall). Lake Stevens (3-1 Wesco 4A North, 7-2 overall)

Scouting report: Kentlake can put up points that’s for sure. The Falcons were involved in a game that had a total of 131 points and more than 1,600 total yards of offense — a victory over Puyallup. Before losing to rival Kentwood in season finale, Kentlake had won three straight to make its playoff push, including a win over fellow playoff rival Tahoma 49-22. Kentlake is led by quarterback Steffin Church, who has thrown for 1,863 yards and 25 TDs. He’s also accurate, completing almost 60% of his passes and just five interceptions.
