The Ravens decided to part ways with quarterbacks coach Jim Zorn Thursday according to multiple reports. Now the question is if Zorn, the former Seahawks quarterback who also spent nine seasons coaching in Seattle, could be a fit in Seattle. The Seahawks currently are without a quarterbacks coach with Jedd Fisch heading to the University of Miami, and Zorn is very familiar with QB Matt Hasselbeck, who Pete Carroll has said he hopes to re-sign. Zorn is also familiar with running the type of offense that new coordinator Darrell Bevell will bring with him to Seattle.
Now all of this is simply speculation right now, but it will be worth keeping an eye on in the next couple of weeks. Another place many feel Zorn could end up is Cleveland because of his ties with Mike Holmgren, who is now the Browns’ president.
