Here are the Seattle Seahawks’ offensive and defensive snap counts from their 26-24 victory over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday (plays, percentage):
OFFENSE (66)
G Glowinski (66, 100)
T Gilliam (66, 100)
C Britt (66, 100)
T Sowell (66, 100)
G Ifedi (66, 100)
QB Wilson (66, 100)
TE Graham (63, 95)
WR Baldwin (56, 85)
WR Kearse (53, 80)
RB Michael (48, 73)
WR Lockett (42, 64)
TE Willson (19, 29)
RB Spiller (15, 23)
TE Williams (10, 15)
WR Richardson (10, 15)
WR McEvoy (7, 11)
TE Vannett (3, 5)
RB Collins (2, 3)
T Webb (1, 2)
C Hunt (1, 2)
Notes: The most notable thing is receiver Tyler Lockett seeing his snap counts increase after seeing a limited amount of time the previous two games because of an issue with his knee. Rookie tight end Nick Vannett and rookie center Joey Hunt each saw the field for the first time in their NFL careers, and Hunt’s snap came playing as a fullback on the goal line.
DEFENSE (67)
SS McCray (67, 100)
FS Thomas (67, 100)
LB Wagner (67, 100)
CB Sherman (67, 100)
CB Shead (67, 100)
LB Wright (67, 100)
DE Avril (57, 85)
DT McDaniel (44, 66)
DE Bennett (43, 64)
DT Rubin (41, 61)
LB Pierre-Louis (40, 60)
DE Marsh (35, 52)
DT Reed (30, 45)
CB Lane (26, 39)
DT Smith (19,28)
Notes: Kevin Pierre-Louis received a large number of snaps as the strong-side linebacker, filling in for the injured Mike Morgan, and his count shows the Seahawks were in their base defense more often than the nickel, which is surprising against an Atlanta team that came in with the NFL’s top passing offense. There was increased playing time for strong safety Kelcie McCray and defensive end Cassius Marsh because Kam Chancellor (groin) and Frank Clark (hamstring) were inactive. Defensive end Michael Bennett’s snap count was down because he sat out much of the second half after suffering a knee injury.
