Here are the inactives for Sunday’s game between the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers at CenturyLink Field:
Inactive: RB J.D McKissic, RB Eddie Lacy, FS Tedric Thompson, LB Terence Garvin, G Jordan Roos, G Oday Aboushi, T Isaiah Battle.
Notes: There’s a major surprise among Seattle’s inactives as Lacy doesn’t dress. Lacy, the Seahawks’ big running back acquisition during the offseason, wasn’t listed on the injury report. However, he managed just three yards on five carries in last week’s season-opening 17-9 loss at Green Bay. Another surprise inactive is Aboushi, a free-agent signing who had been in a neck-and-neck battle for the starting spot at right guard with Mark Glowinski during the preseason. He also wasn’t listed on the injury report. Garvin (shoulder), the usual starter at strong-side linebacker, is Seattle’s only injury scratch. Running back Thomas Rawls (ankle) and linebacker Michael Wilhoite (calf) return from their injuries, and cornerback Richard Sherman (hamstring) plays after being listed as questionable.
SAN FRANCISCO (0-1)
Inactive: WR Kendrick Bourne, CB Ahkello Witherspoon, DB Lorenzo Jerome, LB Pita Taumoepenu, LB Reuben Foster, OL Erik Magnuson, DL Xavier Cooper.
Notes: Only one issue for the 49ers this week as Foster (ankle), the usual starter at weak-side linebacker, had already been ruled out. Two players who missed last week’s 23-3 home loss to Carolina, starting free safety Jimmy Ward (hamstring) and back-up defensive end Aaron Lynch (back) make their returns.
