Seattle Storm forward Swin Cash was honored by the WNBA on Thursday with the WNBA Cares Community Assist Award for the month of August.
Some of Cash’s charitable work includes her efforts as a spokesperson for Race for the Cure and her Cash for Kids charity.
The award is presented monthly during the season to the player who best reflects the league’s goal of making a difference in the community. In recognition of Cash’s efforts, the WNBA will donate $5,000 to the Cash for Kids charity.
