The sixth annual Summer Showdown, Evergreen Speedway’s premier event for Super Late Models, takes place Friday and Saturday. The race has a purse of $100,000, with $25,000 going to the winner. The cars arrived at the track Thursday to begin practicing for the event.

Here’s the schedule for each day (racing times estimated):
FRIDAY
3:00 p.m. – Gates open
4:30 p.m. – Super Late Model qualifying
6:30 p.m. – Opening ceremonies
7:00 p.m. – Mini Stock main event (50 laps)
7:45 p.m. – Street Stock main event (50 laps)
8:30 p.m. – Super Late Model qualifying heats (25 laps)
SATURDAY
3:00 p.m. – Gates open
4:00 p.m. – Super Late Model last chance qualifier (50 laps)
5:00 p.m. – Mini Stock main event (50 laps)
5:45 p.m. – Street Stock main event (50 laps)
6:30 p.m. – Opening ceremonies
7:00 p.m. – Summer Showdown main event (200 laps)
