Terrace boys, Jackson girls playing in King Showcase

The Mountlake Terrace boys and Jackson girls will get a serious challenge in this year’s King Showcase at the Showare Center in Kent on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The Hawks play Fairfax H.S. out of Los Angeles at 2:30 p.m. The Lions are 7-6 and ranked 116th in the state of California boys basketball poll. Jackson faces Kentwood, which is 5-2 this season.

One game that should be interesting ins the Mount Rainier vs. Oregon City matchup, which pits the 10-0 Rams against the 10-1 Pioneers from Oregon City.
