Try Hockey For Free Day

Here’s something for those of you who may know a youngster who would like to give hockey a try. Everett Youth Hockey, in conjunction with the Silvertips, is hosting Try Hockey For Free Day on Saturday as part of Hockey Weekend Across America.

From 9:30-10:30 Saturday morning at the Comcast Community Rink, youths can find out what playing hockey is like. All equipment will be provided, and the Everett Youth Hockey coaches will be on hand, as well as some Silvertips players. This is the first Everett Youth Hockey is holding the event.

And a reminder that Friday night’s Silvertips home game against Tri-City is being televised by Root Sports. So if you can’t make it to Comcast Arena, you can tune in at 7:30 p.m.
