ORIGINAL POST
There were 13 local varsity high school sports events (12 basketball games, one boys swim meet) scheduled for tonight but it looks like many — or possibly all — of them have been postponed because of the snow storm that blasted Snohomish County last night.
The following school districts canceled classes today and postponed after-school activities:
*Edmonds School District
*Everett Public Schools
*Monroe School District
*Mukilteo School District
*Sultan School District
According to Herald Writer Eric Stevick, the following school districts started two hours late today because of the weather: Arlington, Darrington, Granite Falls, Lake Stevens, Lakewood, Marysville and Snohomish.
I will post updates when I confirm other game postponements. In the meantime, here is useful site that provides news about school closures.
