White’s free throw leads Meadowdale boys over Stanwood

LYNNWOOD — Charlie White had 16 points, seven rebounds and a game-winning free throw to win the nonleague game. Stanwood scored with under 10 seconds remaining to go up by two. The Mavericks got an offensive rebound by White, who hit the basket and drew a foul. White hit the free throw with 3.8 seconds left on the clock and Meadowdale was able to deflect the inbound pass to seal the win. Torin Dooley had a double-double for Meadowdale with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Cannen Roberson paced Stanwood with 15.
